Because Ninjas flip out and kill people, even while wearing semi-formal attire.
I have no excuse, no explanation, or anything for this picture, save for the fact I wanted to draw these two in more traditional clothing. I guess it's the fact that they never have conventional dates sat there and influenced the sketch to be more action oriented. *The-Z
mentioned something about roller derby.
Yes, the background's lame. I finished this thing with a killer headache and that always drops the creativity factor. I'm most pleased with the gradient on Ino's kimono. That was done fully by hand. *puffs up proudly*
... belatedly, I forgot to add a pattern on Ino's kimono. I might go back and fix that. Er, when I don't have this damn migraine.
Finally got around to adding a pattern to Ino's kimono. I apparently managed to find a non-seamless pattern but, meh, you can only see it if you look for it. I like how it came out, regardless, though. Also, I redid Kiba's hakama to hopefully show more leg lift. I'm still not satisfied with it, but, it looks a little better than previous.
Ino, Kiba, from Naruto, by Kishimoto... even my disclaimers get lame...
